1. Scope
These Terms of Purchase are part of the Seller's obligations under the Consumer Protection Act and aim to clearly inform the Buyer about important aspects of contract formation, execution, and termination prior to entering into a distance contract, in compliance with legal regulations.
The Seller refers to Matex d.o.o., located at Cvjetna 6, 40000 Cakovec, VAT number (OIB): 99972636273, with contact details: Email: info@matex.hr, Website: https://matex.hr/.
The Buyer can be a consumer (an individual purchasing products for personal use via the Seller’s website) or a legal entity, artisan, individual trader, or businessperson. However, only consumers purchasing products not related to their business activities are protected under the Consumer Protection Act.
By selling through https://svarogov-dom.eu/, the Seller acts on their own behalf.
These Terms of Purchase are part of the distance contract along with the product specifications and pricing. Before confirming a purchase, the Buyer must acknowledge their understanding and acceptance of these terms. Following order confirmation, the Buyer will receive an email confirming the contract. The Seller reserves the right to amend these terms at any time, with changes taking effect upon publication on this website.
Upon order confirmation, the contract is established, and the Seller will notify the Buyer via email.
For a valid contract, the Buyer must have full legal capacity.
The Buyer is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information provided during registration.

2. Main Features of Goods
Product descriptions and photos are provided to illustrate the main features of the goods.
Photos are for illustrative purposes and may not always match the actual products ordered. The Seller emphasizes that the product’s appearance may vary due to monitor settings and individual color perception.
Discrepancies between the product shown in photos and the delivered product do not constitute defects. Product data displayed on https://svarogov-dom.eu/ may be subject to errors, technical issues, or typographical mistakes. In case of evident errors, the Seller reserves the right to unilaterally cancel the contract.
Only products indicated as available can be ordered.
If the Buyer submits their own materials (images, texts, etc.), they must do so at their own expense and risk, and the Seller obtains the necessary rights to use the submitted materials for fulfilling their obligations and delivering the ordered products.
3. Product Price
Prices on the https://svarogov-dom.eu/ website are stated in euros and include VAT. Shipping costs are not included and will be charged separately.
4. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are provided when ordering a single product or as a total for multiple items.
If delivery to the Buyer’s specified address fails, the Buyer is responsible for the costs of redelivery to the same or a different address, depending on the information provided during order tracking.
5. Costs of Using Remote Communication
The Seller does not impose any additional costs for remote communication.
6. Payment Terms, Delivery Conditions, and Delivery Times
Products can be ordered by selecting items, using the menu, and filling out an electronic form. Buyers can order as registered or unregistered users. An order is considered complete once the Buyer finishes the entire ordering process.
Payments can be made via bank card.
For credit card payments, payment must be completed by the deadline specified in the email confirming the contract.
If the Buyer does not receive a confirmation email after placing an order, they should check:
Their junk/spam folder
If their mailbox is full
If payment is not completed within the specified period, the Seller may process a subsequent payment, and if unable to deliver for valid reasons, will unilaterally cancel the contract and refund the payment.
Once payment is confirmed, the Seller will proceed with delivery.
Ordered products are shipped via UPS within 3 to 10 working days of payment confirmation. If a product is out of stock, the Seller will promptly notify the Buyer, who can then choose to terminate the contract and request a refund or agree to a later delivery date. The Seller will attempt to ship all items together; if not possible, separate shipments may be made.
Delivery times do not include:
The day the order is received
Delays due to incorrect or incomplete addresses
Delays due to force majeure or other Seller-fault issues
Non-working days at the start or end of the deadline
7. Unilateral Termination of the Contract
The Buyer who has entered into the distance contract may unilaterally terminate it without reason within 14 days. This period begins when the Buyer or a designated third party (not the carrier) receives the goods. If multiple items are ordered that are delivered separately, the period starts when the last item is received.
If the Seller fails to inform the Buyer of this right, the Buyer may terminate the contract within 12 months after the initial 14-day period expires. If notice of termination is given within this time, the right to terminate ceases 14 days from receipt of the notice.
Before the deadline for unilateral termination, the Buyer must notify the Seller of their decision using the termination form available here, which can be submitted electronically to info@matex.hr or sent via mail to Matex d.o.o., Cvjetna 6, 40000 Cakovec. A confirmation of receipt will be sent via email.
The Buyer may also use the online termination form available here, receiving an email confirmation upon submission.
8. Unilateral Termination Form
If the Buyer terminates the contract, the Seller will refund the payment (excluding shipping costs) within 14 days of receiving the termination decision. The Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. Refunds will be made to the Buyer’s account after the returned goods are received or proof of return is provided. Goods must be returned within 14 days of notifying the Seller of termination, either personally or via a verifiable postal service to Cvjetna 6, 40000 Cakovec. Timely return is confirmed by shipping or hand-delivery before the deadline. The Buyer is responsible for any damage to the goods due to handling beyond what is necessary to ascertain their nature and functionality. If returned items are defective or incomplete, and not remedied within 8 days, the Buyer is considered to have failed to meet their return obligation, and the Seller is not required to issue a refund.
The Buyer cannot unilaterally terminate the contract if:
The service was fully performed by the Seller with the Buyer’s prior consent and acknowledgment of losing the right to terminate.
The price depends on market fluctuations outside the Seller’s control.
The goods are made to the Buyer’s specifications or clearly personalized.
The goods are perishable or have a short shelf life.
The goods are sealed and unsuitable for return due to health or hygiene reasons once unsealed.
The goods are inseparably mixed with other items after delivery.
The contract pertains to the supply of alcoholic beverages with a price set at contract conclusion, where delivery occurs after 30 days.
The Buyer requested an emergency visit from the Seller for repairs, and additional services or goods were provided.
The goods are sealed audio/video recordings or software that has been unsealed.
The contract is for newspapers, periodicals, or magazines (excluding subscriptions).
The contract is concluded at a public auction.
The contract relates to accommodation, delivery services, vehicle rental, or leisure services on a specified date.
The contract involves the supply of digital content not delivered on a physical medium, with the Buyer’s prior consent and acknowledgment of losing the right to terminate.
9. Liability for Material Defects/Complaints
The Seller is responsible for material defects in accordance with Croatian law, particularly the Civil Obligations Act.
Products are packaged to withstand normal transport handling.
If damage occurs during transport, the Buyer should not accept the shipment and should contact the Seller for a status check and potential replacement.
For visible defects upon receiving the shipment, the Buyer may refuse to accept the product and will not incur delivery costs. It is assumed that products received in good condition did not have visible defects. The Buyer must verify the order upon receipt and report any discrepancies in writing to info@matex.hr with "complaint" in the subject line within 7 days; late complaints will not be accepted.
Complaints will be deemed valid if the product meets the criteria under the Civil Obligations Act and Consumer Protection Act. The Seller will replace or refund valid complaints within 15 days of receipt. If a complaint is rejected, the Buyer will be notified.
10. Contract Duration
The contract between the Buyer and Seller is a one-time agreement for the sale of products, concluded upon delivery and payment, unless terminated. These Terms of Purchase are integral to the contract.
11. Conversion Statement
For international customers, payments will be processed in Croatian currency. When charging a credit card, the amount is converted to the local currency at the credit card company's exchange rate, which may differ slightly from the price displayed on the website.
12. Card Acceptance
Accepted payment cards include: Visa, Mastercard®, and Maestro®.
13. Security of Online Payments
Payments made on our webshop utilize CorvusPay, an advanced secure payment system for credit cards online. This system ensures the privacy of credit card and personal data from the moment they are entered into the payment form. Billing information is securely transmitted encrypted from the browser to the issuing bank. Our store does not have access to sensitive payment information. CorvusPay operates on an isolated system core that securely transmits and manages sensitive data, protected by high-grade encryption and compliance with PCI DSS Level 1 standards. Payments made with cards enrolled in the 3-D Secure program undergo additional authentication by the issuing bank.
